Oven Fried Feta Rolls With Chili Honey (Print Version)

Golden baked phyllo rolls stuffed with savory feta cheese, finished with spicy honey drizzle.

# What You Need:

→ For the Rolls

01 - 7 oz feta cheese
02 - 3.5 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
04 - 8 sheets phyllo pastry
05 - 2 tbsp olive oil for brushing
06 - Freshly ground black pepper to taste

→ For the Chili Honey

07 - 1/4 cup honey
08 - 1-2 tsp red chili flakes
09 - 1 tsp lemon juice

# How-To:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Crumble feta into mixing bowl. Add softened cream cheese, chopped parsley, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and thoroughly combined.
03 - Lay one phyllo sheet on work surface. Brush lightly with olive oil. Place second sheet on top and brush again. Repeat to create 4 stacks of 2 sheets each.
04 - Cut each stacked phyllo rectangle in half to create 8 equal pieces.
05 - Place approximately 2 tablespoons feta mixture near one short end of each phyllo piece. Fold sides inward and roll into tight log. Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.
06 - Brush tops of rolls with olive oil.
07 - Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
08 - While rolls bake, combine honey, chili flakes, and lemon juice in small saucepan. Warm gently over low heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly until well blended.
09 - Let rolls cool slightly. Drizzle generously with warm chili honey before serving.
